Your life experience and wisdom are valued at Calvary Church, and there are lots of events and activities to keep senior adults (65+) engaged with each other and other generations.
Senior Adult Lunch
On the second Thursday of each month, join other seniors for a special speaker or entertainment, and a delightful lunch. These lunches are held all year long, with no break during summer! Current dates and topic will be posted here, so check back often. Buses pick up at EagleCrest and Scandia Shores—contact Stan McFall (below) for more info.
Thursday, March 14 / 12-2pm / Roseville Campus
At our March lunch, ethnomusicologist John Benham, founder of Music in World Cultures (MIWC), will talk about how he equips musicians to use indigenous music for worship, discipleship, and evangelism. MIWC ministers in over 25 countries on five continents. John will share some of his experiences related to the four specific roles of the music missionary from the jungles of Indonesia and Brazil to the churches of Ukraine. John is a retired music professor and has taught at Bethel University, University of Northwestern, and Liberty University.
RSVP by Monday, March 11 on the sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center or call the Church Office (651.487.2855).
Cost is $7—pay at the door.
