Your life experience and wisdom are valued at Calvary Church, and there are lots of events and activities to keep senior adults (65+) engaged with each other and other generations.
Senior Adult Lunch
On the second Thursday of each month, join other seniors for a special speaker or entertainment, and a delightful lunch. These lunches are held all year long, with no break during summer! Current dates and topic will be posted here, so check back often. Buses pick up at EagleCrest and Scandia Shores—contact Ben Tyvoll (below) for more info.

Bethel University student Jacob Stein is Concert Master of the Chamber Orchestra and will play selections on his violin at this lunch. Jacob is the grandson of both former Bethel professor Bob Stein (on his father’s side), and Lynn McGettrick (on his mother’s side), who also as a Bethel connection as she was a piano instructor at the university.
Cost $7, pay at the door. RSVP by signing up at the Welcome Center or calling the Church Office at 651.487.2855 by Monday, October 7.
100th Birthday Celebration
VIOLET GRANT HOGLUND will be 100-years-old this fall! Vi has been an active member of Calvary Church since 1965, singing in the choir, serving on a pastoral search committee, and leading women’s groups. She’d love to see some Calvary friends at this milestone celebration! Refreshments will be served. Contact daughter-in-law Sue Grant.
