Women want social outlets and support during all stages of life. Calvary Church offers places to befriend other Moms, and many Bible studies to help all women grow in faith. Whether you have a favorite Bible study writer or prefer video teaching, there are study options for you. (Of course you’re ultimately a fan of Jesus… those teachers are just His messengers.)

All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. This study will help you develop an action plan and personal strategy to secure victory.

Daniel is a complex prophetic book that is often alluded to or quoted from by the New Testament writers especially as it pertains to God’s rule. In a world that continually challenges God’s authority, Daniel reminds of His sovereignty over the nations. But Daniel also directs our gaze to the future when God will setup an everlasting kingdom that will have no rivals. You will be both encouraged and challenged through this prophetic book.

Onward: Engaging the Culture Without Losing The Gospel
Study by Russell D. Moore

Study by Mark Batterson

Tuesdays, March 5-April 9 / 9:30-11:30am
Roseville Campus / Atrium

“If” is a powerful little word. Some people are stuck in “if only,” trudging through lives marked with regret. But God wants us to live lives marked with possibilities, with the “what if” attitude that looks forward to the future with confidence. In this 6 week study, Mark Batterson unpacks the promises of Romans 8 and helps us to overcome guilt, fear and doubt and live as conquerors since God is for us.

Find your support for parenting beyond preschool. Moms Connect encourages women in parenting kids through school years and beyond. Mentor Moms are sprinkled throughout the discussion groups to help with perspective on parenting as they bring the wisdom that comes with experience. This group is open to women outside of Calvary Church as well!

The morning is usually structured with small group discussion time, and large group learning via video, panel discussion, or live teaching. Sometimes the morning focus is a community service project. The point is to connect with other mothers and grow in community in a variety of ways. And of course there will be food—because where there are women, there will be treats!

Study for 2018-2019

This year, we will shape our meetings around a video series called “Make it Count” by Karen Stubbs. Every one of us enters motherhood looking for guarantees. Use this product and you’ll get these results. Follow this approach to discipline and change that behavior. But, any mom will also acknowledge, there are no guarantees in life! Even if we do everything “right” it doesn’t mean our children will turn out the way we want. Make it Count will help us wrestle with this tension and ultimately encourage us to focus on the things we can control, not on the things we can’t. You’ll come away encouraged and equipped for this crazy, wonderful journey of motherhood! Get to know Karen by watching this.

If interested in joining the study this fall, contact the Moms Connect leadership team here.

Mother’s of Preschoolers (MOPS) is a national program for moms and their infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Moms visit and get helpful tips for navigating parenthood from a variety of guest speakers and gain essential skills for making the most of the preschool years. In our MOPPETS program, kids are cared for by attentive volunteers, and learn about God through Bible-focused curriculum.

Unfortunately, MOPS 2018-2019 is full at this time, and we aren’t able to accept any more registrations. If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please fill out the registration form. Feel free to contact us if you have questions, and thank you for your interest in MOPS at Calvary!
