Women want social outlets and support during all stages of life. Calvary Church offers places to befriend other Moms, and many Bible studies to help all women grow in faith. Whether you have a favorite Bible study writer or prefer video teaching, there are study options for you. (Of course you’re ultimately a fan of Jesus…those teachers are just His messengers.)

Drop in anytime for a low-key play date with other Calvary moms and kids (birth-age 5). Moms will enjoy getting together for the adult conversation they crave, and kids will love playing with peers in a familiar environment. Runs September–April.

Bad Girls of the Bible
October 3-December 19 / 7-8:30pm
White Bear Campus / Rooms 101-105

Eve had food issues. Potiphar’s Wife and Delilah had man trouble. Lot’s Wife and Michal couldn’t let go of the past, Sapphira couldn’t let go of money, and Jezebel couldn’t let go of anything. Yet the Woman at the Well had her thirst quenched at last, while Rahab and the Sinful Woman left their sordid histories behind. Walk in the sandals of ten of the Bible’s best-known femme fatales during this study by Liz Curtis Higgs.

Find your support for parenting beyond preschool. Moms Connect encourages women in parenting kids through school years and beyond. Mentor Moms are sprinkled throughout the discussion groups to help with perspective on parenting as they bring the wisdom that comes with experience. This group is open to women outside of Calvary Church as well!

The morning is usually structured with small group discussion time, and large group learning via video, panel discussion, or live teaching. Sometimes the morning focus is a community service project. The point is to connect with other mothers and grow in community in a variety of ways. And of course there will be food—because where there are women, there will be treats!

Fall Topic

Start the school year out with “Living Life Together: The Rhythm of Rest, Grace and Community” by author and speaker Shauna Niequist. Shauna is passionate about living life in community. During the video sessions, she walks through Scripture, challenging women to step out of isolation and fear and pursue relationships with other women that are rooted in rest, grace, and reconciliation. The video will journey with women who have found much-needed support in community, and we’ll discover why God designed and delights in relationships. Watch the trailer.
