God has called believers to step outside their cultural comfort zones and make a difference in the lives of others. How? It’s really quite simple—start by helping just one person. As World Vision founder Bob Pierce once said, “Don’t fail to do something just because you can’t do everything.” Read on for ways to help out Impact partners or get involved with short-term missions.

Step Up

Get involved in your community and use the opportunities listed below with our local partners to reach out to others. Here are several ways you, your family, or Small Group can Step Up.

BARNABAS

The Barnabas team provides care for the body and a cure for the soul by being a friend to the housebound, those in assisted living situations, and adults with special needs. During this Step Up project day, decorate cookies, and make cards to encourage others. These will be delivered to those on the Barnabas team radar.

Short-term Impact Trips

Being the hands and feet of Jesus is one way to show God’s love. Young and old have invested their time and talents in short-term service trips, and each and every person has said their faith grew more than they thought possible. If you’re curious about serving at home or abroad, start praying about future opportunities. If you’re ready to take a leap of faith, here’s what’s next:
