God has called believers to step outside their cultural comfort zones and make a difference in the lives of others. How? It’s really quite simple—start by helping just one person. As World Vision founder Bob Pierce once said, “Don’t fail to do something just because you can’t do everything.” Read on for ways to help out Impact partners or get involved with short-term missions.

Impact Stories Live

Our Local and Global Impact partners have some amazing stories to tell. Stories of God’s power, and lives that have been transformed. Throughout the summer, you’ll have a chance to hear from the following people as they share about their ministry.

AUGUST 12 / Justin Irving / Bethel Seminary
10am / Roseville Campus

Justin teaches at Bethel Seminary, one of three schools supported by Calvary Church’s Impact ministry. Justin will be sharing about work as worship.

AUGUST 19 / Cher Moua / Cru, Minneapolis
10am / Roseville Campus

Cher is the Director of Leadership Development and Strategic Partnership for Cru Inner City. Cru’s mission is to serve and mobilize the church to live out God’s heart for those living in poverty so all can grow in Christ.

AUGUST 26 / Sammy Wanyonyi / Merge Twin Cities
10am / Roseville Campus

Sammy is the Executive Director of Merge, an initiative whose goal is to bring the Gospel to both immigrants and the unchurched in the Twin Cities.

Short-term Impact Trips

Being the hands and feet of Jesus is one way to show God’s love. Young and old have invested their time and talents in short-term service trips, and each and every person has said their faith grew more than they thought possible. If you’re curious about serving at home or abroad, start praying about future opportunities. If you’re ready to take a leap of faith, here’s what’s next:
