We’re making a difference close to home by opening the doors to local ministries and across the continents by cultivating long-term relationships with global partners who build relationships that transform lives. Below is a list of a few of the programs and partners Calvary Church supports. For more information about our programs and local partners, check out the pdf here.

Local Impact Partners Booklet

To pray for our Global Impact partners, pick up a copy of our Global Impact Partners Booklet at the Welcome Center, or request a copy by emailing Bonnie Johnson.

Prayers for Impact Partners

Local and global Impact partners will be highlighted here, with suggestions for how to pray for them. Check back weekly for updates and to see new partners you can pray for! We plan to update these on Wednesdays.

Trout Lake Camps
Pray for Calvary Impact partner Trout Lake Camp as they continue to invest lots of time modifying their procedures to meet the latest CDC and MDH guidelines. Pray for summer staff training that began June 1. Pray for patience as they await clearance from the State of Minnesota as to when summer overnight camping can reopen with the new safety protocols in place.

Mark Warder
Did you know that Calvary’s Interim Contemporary Worship Director Mark Warder’s full-time gig is with one of our Impact partners—Pulse Ministries? Pulse is a prayer, discipleship, and evangelism movement on a mission to share Jesus with the next generation. Pray for recently launched Pulse initiatives including the Bible quarantine video on social media, the Love Your Neighbor Campaign in Minneapolis, and Move Closer discipleship app which is already being utilized by 8000 students around the country.

East West InterKnit
Pray for East West InterKnit as they continue to encourage, equip, and resource their ministries in India, Kenya, Ghana, and Haiti during the COVID-19 crisis. Pray for evangelists, pastors, students, and families facing unimaginable financial and food emergencies. Pray for churches as they respond with food bundles and prayers for God’s intervention. In the midst of all this, prices for food continue to rise as a leader in Ghana recounts – “we pay a lot now for a small amount of food.” Pray for God’s peace in the middle of the crisis, as fear and anxiety spread.
