Dominican Republic

Work on projects in Los Caños such as leading Vacation Bible School, and doing home visits with the elderly and those in need. You’ll be building relationships with kids and families, community leaders, and Food for the Hungry staff.

The Haiti team will work with Impact Partners Miradieu and Dula Estinvil in the capital city of Port-au-Prince. Projects include construction, visiting Sisters of Charity AIDS hospice (and home for malnourished children), and ministering at several other partner orphanage sites.

Travel with our Impact partner, Scalpel at the Cross, and assist patients at the clinic in the Amazon. The trip is not limited to those in the medical profession, but an interest in medicine and/or fluency in Spanish is useful.

Grade 7-8 students travel to Lake Traverse, South Dakota, to serve with YouthWorks and help with kid’s programming at the community center, serve the residents in assisted living facilities, and do other projects.

Grade 11-12 students will focus on food sustainability in an urban context. Hunger and malnutrition are urban threats, and team will work with urban gardening initiatives, help with kids programs, and view Philadelphia through the eyes of local partners.
