Public Worship Services have returned! We’re so excited to see you again! But we will need you to make a reservation to attend services until we are able to return to full capacity in our Worship Center. We will also need you to wear a mask to be in compliance with the new state order.
There are several things you need to know before you come back to church, so take a look at the info below. And if you love lots of detail and would like to read more, click on the pdf in the button below.
Sunday Worship Service Times
Sunday / August 9, 2020
New RSVP opens on Monday morning for each Sunday. And remember to wear your mask when you come to church!
10:15am / White Bear Campus / Contemporary*
RSVP for the 10:15am service HERE
*If a single service at White Bear Campus doesn’t accommodate everyone who wants to worship in-person, we will add a second service and adjust the times to 9:15 & 11:15am, and the message will be simulcast via video for those services.
Infant-Grade 12 & Life Groups
No separate programming for Infant & Toddler, Early Childhood, Elementary, Jr. High, Sr. High, or Life Groups on Sunday mornings at this time. Families will be worshipping together! Contact Christy Becher for ideas on how to engage your child during in-person Worship Services.
Please stay home if…
If you, or anyone in your household have any of the following symptoms: fever (100.4 degrees or higher), new cough, sore throat, headache, body aches, loss of smell, or taste, please watch the service online at home until you are well. Each weekend, you can watch services online HERE. You can watch our livestreamed services anytime Sunday morning.
Wear a mask, please.
You’ve RSVP’d and done a health assessment, and are ready to come to church! But wait… do you have a mask or a face covering? We are following the Governor’s mandate and asking everyone to wear a face-covering (that covers your mouth and nose) while indoors, and wear one outside if you are not able to properly social distance. For nuances to this new executive order, please click HERE.
You made it!
All exterior and interior doors will be propped open to minimize contact. Worship Center doors will be open 20 minutes prior to Worship Services.
Again, masks are required. If you forgot your mask, one of our pastors, ushers or greeters would be happy to provide you with a disposable mask.
We will maintain 6-feet of social distancing throughout the building.
Worship Center Seating
Our amazing ushers will seat by households from front to back. At the end of the service, please wait for ushers to release your row, from back to front.
Masks are especially important when singing to help prevent the spread of air droplets.
We’ve made some adjustments to the way we do worship so it’s touch-free.
- Our Connect Card is digital and available HERE. Or HERE.
- There will not be any busy bags available for your kids at this time. Please bring your own entertainment items for your kiddos, and be sure to take everything with you when you leave.
- Worship Folders will not be given out at this time. Events and news are shared in our weekly enews sent out each Friday. To subscribe to enews, scroll to the bottom of THIS PAGE.
- Give online (link HERE) or drop donations in boxes on the wall at the back of the Worship Center. Or mail your donations to: Calvary Church, 2120 Lexington Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113.
- On the first Sunday of the month, individual communion containers (juice and non-gluten-free wafer) will be provided for you.
And did we mention…
Note signs on doors for the number of people allowed in each restroom at one time. Please wait outside of the restroom until space is available.
We’re all excited to see and talk with people we haven’t seen in a while. But we ask that you not gather in the aisles of the Worship Center or in the Lobby.
Please express appreciation to all our volunteers, some of whom are doing double-duty and stepping in for others who may not yet feel comfortable being part of a large gathering. If you would like to join our volunteer team, please contact Ralph Gustafson, Senior Adults & Volunteer Development Pastor.
Procedures are in place to disinfect the facility. The Worship Center will be sanitized between services. If chemical smells are difficult for you, you’re encouraged to attend the first service. To keep things clean, there will be no access to parts of the building not in use.
These guidelines will be regularly evaluated and adjusted as circumstances change. Thank you for understanding and for your cooperation.
If you’re unable to return to church, we want to keep you informed of changes and updates—now more than ever. If you are part of the Calvary community, please make sure we have your email, current phone number, and address. How do you do this? By updating or logging into ShelbyNext, our online directory. Simple directions HERE.
Fun fact—enews and ShelbyNext are different systems! If you aren’t getting our enews, scroll to the bottom of any page on our WEBSITE and sign up.
