Giving Statement Update

We’re saving postage AND trees! Starting January 31, 2020, giving statements will be emailed to those whose email addresses are in our database. If we do not have an email associated with someone who contributes to Calvary Church, we will continue to send statements via USPS. If you have shared your email with Calvary but prefer to receive a hard copy statement through the mail, please contact Jim Feldman. If we do not have your current email, please update that HERE.

“Each person should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 8:7 and 9:7

Calvary Church people are committed to giving regularly to God and His work. It’s not only biblical—it’s also a way to partner with God. How much should you give? Your giving should be in proportion to how God has blessed you financially.

Every dollar given to our General Fund is used to support the overall mission of Calvary—to build relationships, and see Jesus transform lives. While gifts can’t be designated for use by a specific ministry, you can request your gifts go towards one of three Funds: the General Fund, Impact (missions) Fund, and the Community Care Fund. We have one ministry that you can specifically support: After School Kids (ASK) Program.

For your convenience, we have multiple ways to give to Calvary Church.

Online Giving

A simple and convenient way to give. Consider automating your regular donations with our electronic giving program. (If you use a credit card option, we would hope that you only use it if your balance is paid off each month. Tithing shouldn’t add to your debt!)

You also may be able to make a gift to Calvary Church with a distribution from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA), and take advantage of tax savings. If you are over the age of 70½ you could distribute any amount up to $100,000 to a charity of your choice including Calvary Church and the distribution counts toward your minimum required distribution, but is not included in your income for income tax purposes. You should consult with your tax advisor to discuss your particular situation before making your gift.
